我們發現個別用戶有用抗磨液壓油、導軌油、汽輪機油（透平油）或普通機械油代替齒輪油的現象。這都是不正確的，因為整個機器的動力都是通過齒輪變速傳動的，齒輪齒面上的嚙合線承受了巨大的負荷，要求潤滑油有極壓性，而其他油品不含極壓添加劑，起不到保護齒面的作用，因此會導致齒面產生點蝕、斷裂等現象。
